The Vipers are a professional women's basketball team in Tallahassee, FL. We strive to provide women with the opportunity to continue their athletic careers while competing at the highest level. We are seeking to fill positions as Assistant Coaches.

Assistant Coach(s) are needed to lead the organization in delivering a positive experience to our clients. The successful candidates will work with a team of enthusiastic support professionals and have the opportunity to expand their own leadership skills while working in an energetic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Head Coach and Front Office

Communicate with players to determine their strengths and weaknesses.

Lead the players in practice and encourage them to improve their skills.

Assist in scheduling and conducting practices and trainings.

Analyze spectator feedback; make decisions accordingly.

Assist in handling disciplinary problems among players.

Other projects/duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
College students can receive academic credit.

Strong basketball strategy and/or training knowledge.

Coaching experience (min. 2 years). High school or higher is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multi-task.

Great problem-solving skills.

Adhere to deadlines.

Understand that the Tallahassee Vipers is a new, growing organization and is willing to put in extra time to complete tasks on time.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $2,500.00 per year
