Job Description
The Vipers women’s basketball team is looking for male practice players to assist during team practices and games for the upcoming 2023 season.
Responsibilities

Insure that the necessary equipment is available for practice/games.

Sweep floors before every practice — may have to wet mop as floor continues to worsen.

Be able to learn and execute opposing teams offensive and defensive sets, as scouted by assistant coach.

Assist with pre-practice and pre-game drills — rebound, encouragement, etc.

Be prepared to keep stats/video games and practices upon request.

Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager and Head Coach.
Qualifications

If college student, can receive academic credit.

Preferred to be actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in Sports Management or any degree in sports, but not necessary.

Should have previous basketball experience, preferably high school or travel ball.

Ability to work with coaches and players and maintain professional relationships.

100% professional, smart, flexible, and reliable.

Ability to work flexible hours, some nights and weekends for events.

Players will be required to complete medical and compliance clearance checks prior to starting.

Practice squad members earn benefits such as free gear and occasional meals.
